JCPenney just launched Studio, a new line of home furnishings and decor items that they're calling "Relaxed Modern." I perused the whole set yesterday, and overall it's pretty nice for the price. Some of the pieces are trend-tired and a little copycat looking and others seemed over-priced, but there are a few gems that meet the Dwelement Style Steal criteria: A Style Steal must have a remarkable appearance of style and quality that belies its low price.

My post on buying quality furniture from yesterday led me to the site of Sawbridge Studios, where I dove into their floor sample sale section and found this iconic Style Steal. The price is a bargain, considering it's a one-of-a-kind piece handcrafted for the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry's Smart Home exhibit. The model home at the museum has just been redecorated, making this gorgeous bed available for your own smart home. And, it's green. The patchwork-inspired design is made from different species of reclaimed lumber. Make it yours for $1,620. Do some comparison shopping and you'll see that it's a terrific price for a handcrafted, unique, solid wood bed.

TGIF! How about a little shopping distraction to go with that weekend attitude? Crate & Barrel just added a slew of items to their online outlet, and these simple but bold tables really caught my eye at this seriously reduced price. The Tiago side table and coffee table fold flat on their X bases and have carmelized bamboo tops and tool-free assembly. Side table, $50 (regularly $199). Coffee table, $60 (regularly $299).

Style Steal: Industrial Chic Accent Table

I love an industrial element or two in an otherwise refined room. And at this price, I'm having a hard time resisting this accent table from Urban Outfitters. I can think of dozens of uses and places for it: holding drinks on the porch in the summer, alongside the tub with a book and a mug in winter, set up next to the guest bed on weekends… Because the beauty of it is, it folds down to stow in a closet when it's not needed.
